The Problem With the Standard Explanation

For decades, the dominant theory centered on amyloid plaques — protein deposits believed to accumulate in brain tissue and disrupt neural communication. Most major pharmaceutical drugs prescribed for progressive memory loss were developed to target these plaques. That foundation has a serious problem.

The brain makes up just 2% of your body weight but consumes roughly 20% of your total energy. Unlike many environmental compounds, cadmium accumulates in tissue over years.
